2019.03.13 – Ultimate Series and V-Motor Company are delighted to announce the comeback of Speed Euroseries, the highly successful European Championship for CN2 sports prototypes back in the years 2011-2013. The championship will be back in 2019 with the name Speed Euroseries by Ultimate Cup Series.

Thanks to an important and continuous collaboration with the main constructors of CN cars, Ultimate Series and V-Motor Company invested on the project of bringing back to life of one of the most appreciated European series with new regulations and an interesting racing calendar of seven rounds that announces to be quite exciting and full of adrenaline.

The Speed Euroseries by Ultimate Cup Series 2019 will be open to CN prototypes, as specified by the Technical FIA Appendix Article J 259-2018. The 180-minutes-long races will be open to lineups made by one, two or three drivers with a minimum of two mandatory pit stops having a minimum time of 45s each. The racing format will follow the best International standards with two free practice sessions and one qualifying to decide the pecking order of the race that will have a rolling start.

As said, Speed Euroseries by Ultimate Cup Series 2019 will be run in seven appointments going from March to November on some of the most important racetracks across Europe with a calendar shared with the Ultimate Cup Series, that features races of Gran Turismo, LMP3, single seaters, Mitjet and CN. The final classification will be drawn based on the six best times and will allow drivers contesting the whole season to discard the worst result.

The new championship promoted by Ultimate Series and V-Motor Company has been made more important by the partnership with the American petrol company Sunoco that will be the exclusive fuel provider. This important collaboration with the brand providing the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series since 2004, will allow the drivers partaking in the Speed Euroseries by Ultimate Cup Series 2019 to take part also in the Sunoco 240 Challenge 2019. This is a special challenge will involve all the participants in the Sunoco powered championships that will gain points in each race. The winner will have the chance to take part in the 240 miles race that will support the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona 2020 on a GT4 car branded by Sunoco.

The first round of the intense 2019 calendar will take place at the Portuguese circuit of Estoril from March 22nd to 24th. The new website available at www.speedeuroseries.net has already been updated with entry forms, complete regulations and all the information regarding this project.
