17.10.2019 – After the exciting race in Valencia (ESP), Speed Euroseries by Ultimate Cup Series is about to switch the engines on again ahead of the penultimate round of the season that will see the CN class cars challenging each other on the Nevers Magny-Cours (FRA) circuit this coming weekend.
Further to the victory scored by Bellarosa (Wolf GB08 Tornado) in Valencia, the classification is quite interesting and the French circuit is likely to stage a great battle, one to be followed from lights to flag. The challenge among the constructors will involve the Wolf Racing Cars and Norma cars and the French circuit could shuffle the cards in terms of performance. The European series for CN cars has been brought back this year thanks to the commitment of Ultimate Series and V-Motor Company and has been quite exciting so far with the participation of several great champions.
The challenge of the weekend will take place on the 4.411 meters of Magny-Cours, the circuit that has staged the Formula 1 French Grand Prix from 1991 to 2008. The circuit is quite technical and flowing and requires a perfect setup to be quick in the direction changes and in the straights. The first sector after the start includes the wide Estoril bend and the almost straight section that leads into the Adelaide hairpin. The central part is flowing and includes the Nürburgring chicane and the 180° hairpin. The Imola chicane leads into the closing sector that also features the tight Chateaux d’Eau and the famous Complexe du Lycée that ends the lap.
The program of the weekend will start on Thursday with the optional private practices from 12:50 (GMT +2). The two free practice sessions will take place on Friday at 13:55 and Saturday at 10:00. Qualifying will follow on Saturday starting from 15:00. The three-hours long race that will close the weekend of the Ultimate Cup Series is due to start on Sunday at 16:00.
The live action will be available through the web and social channels of Speed Euroseries by Ultimate Cup Series @speedeuseries and updates will be available at www.series.ultimatecup.racing
